About Freedom from Organization

There may be a thousand blogs out there devoted to personal productivity, but with all due respect to their authors, I haven’t been able to find a single one that isn’t all talk and little-to-no action (with the possible exception of the newly-revamped 43 Folders). So, as with most things in life, I decided to do it myself.

This blog is specifically for helping Type A personaliites get their lives in order. Contrary to popular opinion, being a Type A doesn’t necessarily mean you’re organized - it means you need certain information and tools to reach your full potential. A lengthy essay on productivity principles or a “101 Organizing Ideas” list may be great for some, but if you’re a Type A, it’s an overwhelming amount of theory with no step-by-step plan — creating more problems than the author set out to solve.

I meet lots of other Type A personalities who are positively drowning under mountains of lists and stress, and I want you to know: it doesn’t have to be that way. This blog’s for you.
